Interesting themes and Gable is magnetic as you would expect. Just got weighed down and there was a real in-and-out feeling in terms of the attention level that the film demanded. Definitely potential in exploring the horrors of war and their effects on generals removed from the physical conflict, but one cannot help but feel that this film could have been shorter and been rendered more effective.

Absolutely gripping, tense. Love this movie, well put together. Give it a spin.

Command Decision is an excellent film. It is about Army generals struggle with the decision to prioritize bombing the German factories. Clark Gable and Walter Pidgeon give fantastic performances. The screenplay is good but a little slow in places. Sam Wood did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the drama and adventure. Command Decision is a must see.

Decent World War 2 flick with Clark Gable as the general with "The Buck Stops Here" on his desk (and his chest) when liberal political wonks from the U.S. want to know why frontline casualties aren't being kept down. A large cast fills out The-Job-Must-Get-Done-At-Any-Cost story nicely.

An excellent film. Some of Walter Pidgeon's dialog had me literally leaning forward in my seat.

A bit melodramatic in parts, but it definitely shows the pains of command and the struggle the Army Air Corps dealt with to merely exist. Well, worth your time if you love history and war movies.

Clark Gable was excellent in the tile of a World War II bomber wing general who had to make the tough decisions to send his bombers into heavily defending Getman areas at great loss. The movie is based on a stage play, so there is a lot of dialogue and no action, but this gives the viewer the opportunity to get to know the key characters and the stress that they go through in doing their jobs everyday.

Another War movie from MGM. This one stars Clark Gable who plays Gen Casey Dennis. Dennis is leading a fight against the Germans with his squadrons of bombers knocking out factory's that are developing and building jets for the German air force, the Germans are sure to win the war with this fighter. Losses are high on each days bombing. 320 men killed the first day 580 men killed the second. Should he be relieved of his command. This movie was taken from a play, and is quite excellent. 4 Stars
