Picture Gallery of the Week: City Island

Andy Garcia exploits his now-famous brand of menace and charm in City Island, playing a prison guard with dreams of being a movie star. A fest runner from a year back, this dysfunctional family indie-com boasts some acting pedigree: The Good Wife's Julianna Marguilles, Lars and the Real Girl's Emily Mortimer and, god-among-the-ironic, Alan Arkin, who's role as an acting coach sounds like a minefield of sly digs at the industry. Poster of the Week: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

I like to make any Scott Pilgrim material I get whatever of the week, usually writing something along the lines of how much it'll suck if this movie doesn't meet expectations. The director, the cast, and source material is way too good for that to happen! At, the very least, the soundtrack will be awesome, right? And so will the video game tie-in (hopefully done in 8bit visuals)? View the poster.

Video of the Week: Get Him to the Greek trailer

Liked Forgetting Sarah Marshall? Appreciated it for all its touchy-feely sweet moments? Well, looks like you're going to get none of that for spin-off Get Him to the Greek, which, judging from the trailer, is going to be a manic, charged take on comic debuachery. Watch the videos.
