Movie Info

This musical comedy, set in the 1940s, follows the exploits of two bumbling filmmakers who can't convince any of the major studios to back their newest film. In desperation, the two rent a movie lot and do it by themselves. The result is a mixture of musical numbers and specialty acts. Many stars from Universal studios make cameo appearances. Songs include: "Pocketful of Pennies," "Tropicana," "Get on Board, Little Children," "Crazy House," "Lament of a Laundry Girl," "Donkey Serenade," "I Ought to Dance," "My Rainbow Song," and "My Song Without Words."
