Movie Info

This post-nuclear film focuses on five soldiers who've gone AWOL and hide in a subterranean lab to escape the deadly acid rain that's falling above. What the soldiers don't know, but will soon find out, is that this lab accidentally created hungry insectoid creatures, that wait to feed on them.

Incomprehensible (and I mean that) mega-low budget dumbness.

A hilariously bad 80s sci-fi flick with fun special effects

80s scifi horror that features a monster that is unsure what it wants. No seriously, the creature attacks people, but the results vary each time: some are killed, some are infected, some are dragged off, etc. This made the film sort of "unpredictable" in a way. Oh, and Linnea Quigley gets naked...again. Strangely enough Fallout 2 referenced this film...sort of.

Imagine if Roger Corman had decided to rip off "Aliens," decided it was a bad idea and turned it over to Ed Wood halfway through. Ed Wood then tried to make the film more cheaply than any other he'd made while drinking a quart of floor polish for breakfast every morning. Now imagine that someone tied you down and clipped your eyes open like in "A Clockwork Orange" and made you watch the finished product while performing dental work on you without an anesthetic. Don't. Just don't. It gets one star for Linnea Quigley in a wet t-shirt being on-screen for substantial periods. That's the only good thing about this deservedly forgotten bladders-and-latex crapfest.

Cheapo Aliens-type rip-off with very few redeeming qualities accept for the humorously bad moments, like the mad-eyed mutant baby! Has a couple of gruesome moments but generally the make-up and creature effects were laughable... as was the supposed plot. Thank God it was only on for 70 minutes!
