Exceptional, a masterpiece of nature and Disney.
A flamingo documentary that's more interested in landscapes and showing flamingos dying/being eaten than having a straightforward story of flamingos flourishing together in new environments. If you want to see all the horrible ways a baby flamingo can die, is this the movie for you. Plus, the narrator keeps talking about phoenixes for no reason. This is an example of animal documentarians not understanding how to make a documentary about an animal species and they make this just to meet a deadline. Massively disappointing, pointless and underwhelming.
Beautifully shot documentary with interesting narration, though a bit on the morose side. While being honest in its depiction of nature, The Crimson Wing focuses quite heavily and with unnecessary graphicness on the deaths of flamingo babies. The movie is worth watching if you are a nature documentary lover and a fan of breathtaking cinematography, but prepare yourself for some very sad moments.
Beautiful movie! Extraordinary story about the flamingoes!
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!
I bet you didn't know...
Some wonderful photography and an interesting enough story of these birds, but probably not worthy of a full length film.
Otro documental mas de disneynature y sigue siendo magnifico, todo absolutamente todo es asombroso y mas al tratarse de un ave como el flamingo, bellizimo documental acompañado de una EXCELENTE banda sonora.
Wow so meany Flamingos and I didn't know that the some what fly ,also they are so cute when there just baby's.
It was interesting the way of life for the flamingos is a harsh one, they go through what I thought was interesting is of corse not meany make it but if one is always in the salt water it could develop a salt shackle on its legs that is hard to break. And often slows them down and is hard to get back up for them.
It is an in depth look on Flamingos lives in Africa. It is informational and beautiful.
