Really sad to hear about his health problems. Ebert is the one whose reviews I read almost every week. I may have disagreed with him many times, but I've always respected his opinion (that's the nature of film criticism, something Ebert is well aware of).

I imagine they'll be a lot less negative reviews, as films that look awful will obviously be the first thing Ebert will skip. It's too bad, as some of his negative reviews have been hilarious (If only Sex and the City 2 had been half as funny as his review of it).

My best regards to Roger Ebert and I hope he gets well soon.

...and he just died. I wonder if he honestly knew he was about to go, and was just waxing poetic about what he could be doing with just a little more time. I do remember watching Siskel and he on their show and wanting to watch the movies they were watching with them in that cozy little theater.
