Curse 4 - The Ultimate Sacrifice Reviews
No relation to the franchise, released as such for whatever $ the Curse title still conveyed. This has some terrific cinematography by Sergio Salvati accompanied by a fine Donaggio score, which combines well in some of the lighter scenes or improbable fatality. The sequence involving a sneaky, snickers bar-fueled catechism is particularly ridiculous.
Even from the laser disc transfer the image is quite soft, however. It would be nice to see this get the attention of Crawlspace or Tourist Trap, as it is easily in that range of entertainment in terms of combining an absurd scenario with some at times quite competent and classic horror scare techniques.
