Movie Info

Best friends Tina (Eugene Domingo) and Lea (Pokwang) vow to unite their families through marriage. Their dreams come true when they force their children (Sandara Park and Joseph Bitangcol) to marry, even though the newlyweds hate each other. But love takes a few strange twists, and the pushy moms are in for one wild ride. This exuberant comedy also celebrates Vilma Santos's amazing career by cleverly working clips of the star into the narrative.

Audience Reviews for D'Lucky Ones

Was this an adult or teen romantic comedy, hard to tell as the plot moves between the parents and their kids. The plot involves two mothers who are best friends (because they are both humorously obsessed with the same singer) who make a pact to have their children marry when they're older. Due to some twists and their past, Lucky Boy and Lucky Girl (ok give me a break with the names!!) begin to fall for each other, only to hate each other, then fall in love again in typical romantic comedy fashion. Meanwhile we have a similar situation with the parents as they have a falling out as well. Everything works out in the end obviously though. Overall nothing special but not horrible either, I really enjoyed Sandara Park the most as Lucky Girl.
