Dave Grusin is a great musician and has been for sixty years. Modest, rigorous, loved and respected by generations of fellow jazz figures, like Quincy Jones, Lee Ritenour, etc etc. This documentary is interesting as far as it goes. It has excerpts from several concerts and yards of talking heads, but the focus isn't narrow enough and it hops about chronologically.
