"MOVIE INFO" Description looks intentionally biased . While cities cutting into farmland is mentioned , the disaster is the Cold Summers causing crop failures-- as the cover image indicates .
This is a far more realistic fear than Al Gore Warming . From ice ages to little ice ages famines due to cold happen . In contrast times with temperatures a little higher than present were called "climate optima" before the current statist attack on the molecule which married to H2O in equal molar quantities is the basis of life .

Rather dark movie .

Very grim Canadian film about cold weather depleting the world's food supply and the fight that ensues between farmers and hungry city dwellers. Better the second time around. Works in part because a food shortage is plausible.

Meek and bleak Canadian production showing downfall of society when climate change destroys the Earth's food supply. They went the wrong way with the global cooling idea. You know times are desperate when Bell long distance service is cut.

There's good concept here as the world faces a cooling climate and dwindling food supply. Unfortunately, the film is hampered by a poor script, awful music and a super low budget.

More relevant now than ever, due to climate change, high energy prices and over population, the world food supply is running dangerously low...this movie at 1st comes across kind of cheesy but the message is so relevant now it really makes you think.
