Movie Info

This violent actioner owes an enormous tip-o-the-hat to The Most Dangerous Game (1932) for its plotline about a secret mercenary training camp where recruits shoot real people instead of stationary targets.

No one gets out alive when Danton goes on the warpath, which seems a small price to pay for getting out of the movie.

Audience Reviews for Deadly Prey

"Deadly Prey" is a Rambo clone even lighter on plot. The schizophrenic dialogue is the highlight, but the homoerotic undertones throughout make this one worth watching and heckling.

From a technical standpoint this lies somewhere between grossly incompetent and outright incomprehensible. As a piece of ironically enjoyable cult-friendly schlock, it's a startlingly pleasurable experience. Only modestly terrible until the final act, in which it catapults from blundering to impenetrable.

Clearly a case of "so bad it's good," it's packed with laughable action sequences, one-liners, a bad 80s soundtrack, and mullets. Definitely entertaining, and I'm reasonably sure nobody involved was taking this seriously, which is a good thing, as it obviously serves as an action/comedy
