Audience Reviews for Dear Ruth

Cute postwar film, with a wonderful performance from William Holden, Billy DeWolfe and Edward Arnold provide superb support. The basic plot is a young girl has been writing to a soldier for quite some time, but she uses her older sisters name. Then he comes to town for a visit. Funny premise, great screenplay. Very enjoyable.

It's sad how forgotton this movie has become. Creative story, and a cast that had excellent chemistry make this romantic comedy a must-see.
