So I still have absolutely no idea what happened in this movie after watching it. There are so many different characters and so much information thrown at you in the short spans between fight scenes. One thing this movie isn't is boring, that's for sure. I was almost hurting my brain trying to figure out what was going on. If you're okay with being totally lost but want to see some crazy fight scenes, then I would definitely recommend this movie. There's a lot of blood and some great funny bad sequences in this thing. This would probably be best viewed with friends.

The whole story behind this film was really interesting. But they did not piece it together very well. Through 90 percent of the movie, it leaves you confused. Then finally at the end, it starts to make sense, but you are still left unsatisfied. The only thing to keep you interested would be all the fight scenes. But there was more gun shooting than anything. I wanted to see more fighting with fists and kicks, but there was not much. The story behind it all is that you kill yourself and it is a sin. So you are in a world between reality and Heaven, or Hell. In this world you are granted a special power, but in return for your sin, you have a pain also. For example; one guy has the ability to see all kill points and kill them really fast. In return, he gets a scar on his body where he killed the guy. If you notice, most are by his heart. I admit that each character was kind of cool to see. There powers were interesting, but there was really not that much back story at all to the characters, leaving it hard to enjoy them to the fullest. Basically, what this movie was missing was full out, a storyline. It had the ability to create one, but like I said, it leaves you confused on how they try to do it. This really could of been one great action film if done right.

Thanakorn Pongsuwan's poor execution leads to the less than stellar action film, Opapatika.Classified as an action fantasy, this film delivers on both of those aspects in addition to having a great concept behind the story; everything comes with a price. The storytelling on the other hand, is the film's weakness. It is choppy. Not to the point of confusion, but enough to take away the smooth ride for nearly 105 minutes. There is an ample amount of action as the characters get the chance to put their special abilities to use, along with the help of some welcome effects and plenty of gunfire. The violence also leans toward the bloody side. While it isn't exactly easy to pick out the hero until the ending of the film, the acting is acceptable all around. Somchai Khemklad, Chakrit Yaemnam, Pongpat Wachirabanjong, and Khemupsorn Sirisukha portray the more notable characters.Opapatika's unimpressive storytelling does keep the film from becoming predictable, but that isn't enough to make it a strong recommendation.

this is set in an alternative world were if you kill yourself and have the strength of willpower you are reborn as a new being with special gifts. Each gift is different and has a price for every use. You can also die again if your heart is ripped out! Its about one older opapatika (demon creature) trying to stay immortal and the rest of them who suffer by his hands. Theres a real dream like feeling throughout this film and some amazing characters with fantastic skills (ones a telepath who loses his own senses when he uses his powers, another a killer whos body is scrared whenever he takes a life). The fight scences are great and are loads of shooting set pieces with one demon vs numerous people (lots of good uses of blood squibs to) and it keeps you guessing about who the lady in white is right up until the end. The problem is because of its dreamlike atmosphere and artsy style delievery you never really acre that much about how this is gunna turn out for any of the demons. Sure it shows you glimpses inot why they took there lives and when some of them die it is quite touching but essentially you are just waiting to see them use there powers again! The ending is a bit anti cliamatic but does work quite well. Still its a great movie and fantastic to watch a film with a new and interesting plot for a change. Def worth watching :)

Convoluted, pretentious, repetitive and technically uninspiring, Demon Warriors has nothing going for it.

Quite a lavish production by Thai standards, this is an anti-suicide message cocooned in a supernatural action flick. Set in a parallel universe the ā??spontaneously bornā?? Opapatika each have special powers, are at war, and are being hunted by humans. I thinkā?¦ itā??s so confusing I gave up trying to follow the over-complicated plot after a while. On the plus side, itā??s nicely shot, full of action and extremly graphic when it comes to spurting blood!

Parts of this were amazing and atmospheric, other parts were plain, well, crap. That equals an average rating

Saved by a decent splattering of gore and some nice action set pieces elsewhere this is just a mess. Shame cos it opens well and sets up the premise nicely before confusing us all with its plot curves and stuff. Switch off and ignore the plot and just watch and treat it as mindless and you'll like it more.

a bit difficult to follow, but the last sentence is quite meaningful.

This looked more interesting in the trailer than in the execution, as it devolved into a series of gun battles between human cannon fodder and demons, which wasn't nearly as cinematic as the 3 minute clip once you stretch it out to an hour and forty-five minutes.

Might be your thing, wasn't exactly mine.

Jumbled and largely uninvolving.
