Movie Info

Going undercover, reporters Clark Kent and Lois Lane investigate the murder of an elderly watchman from the Metropolis Munitions Factory. It turns out that factory owner Jones is the head of a gang of saboteurs, determined to commit various acts of mayhem before blowing up the plant. Stumbling onto the conspirators, Lois goes to great athletic lengths to avoid capture, but is ultimately bound and gagged and stuffed into a torpedo tube, which is then fired at a naval vessel. Looks like it's time for Clark Kent to assume his true identity as Superman and go into action--which he does, and how!

The title should say Destruction Inc.. A ditzy kid on the street in an early scene seems like he belongs in a completely different comic short. This one is saved by a double undercover plot to foil the bad guys and Lois making an exciting death-defying escape attempt in the middle.

Oh this is where you get weird character things like "Louis" who just shows up for a silly gag about his name always being guessed wrong. He looks too cartoony, while the series usually maintained a more realistic style, which I love...Louis was too goofy looking and acting. Beyond that, it is a decent Superman short, but I think the series lost something when losing the Fleischers.
