Movie Info

A woman discovers she doesn't know the man she married as well as she thought in this thriller. Julianne (Tara Reid) impulsively marries her boyfriend Mitch (Kip Pardue) to break free from her controlling family, and the newlyweds decide to spend their honeymoon in a lakefront cabin on a small and secluded island. While the idea sounds romantic at first, the honeymoon soon takes a sinister turn and Julianne discovers Mitch has more than love on his mind. Realizing she's in grave danger, Julianne has to find a way to escape the location that they in fact chose because of its seclusion. Although the focus throughout the entire film is on just two rather one-dimensional characters, it's still interesting enough to watch all the way through. Once.

Audience Reviews for Devil's Pond

People that rates this one star are crazy. I loved this movie it was so awesome filled with suspense. Just goes to prove don't rush into marriage without really getting to know who that person is your marrying. Tara did a wonderful acting. Defiantly a must see on a last Saturday night. I'd really give this movie six stars if I could ð???

This started out harmless enough but degenerated into two dysfunctional people beating each other up. Don't the writers/director know that the unknown/unseen is scary? Some of the "suspense" scenes were just laughable.

Not as bad as I thought it would be. I'm not really a fan of Reid, but this was a pretty entertaining movie.
