Not a bad idea, but unfortunately a very dull and badly shot and edited film with horrendous 70's Doctor Who special effects, and uninteresting and stupid characters.

Town with problematic history of witches finds three progressive-minded women moving in and must treat them accordingly--by attempting to burn them at the stake. Devonsville in 1983 not ready for any radical ideas from outsiders, especially of the female variety.

Three new women to the small town of Devonsville are thought to be too radical and are killed by locals, just like three witches the town killed 300 years ago. The fact that they have full time jobs raised suspicisions.

Has a cool autumn New England-y tone but is too goofy to be taken seriously. Campy as heck and features a weird performance from Paul Wilson, who is best known for being one of the bar patrons on Cheers.
