An effective slow-burn horror that takes its time escalating -- but it does get there. I found the character psychology kind of pat, and one late revelation ridiculous. But this is otherwise a decent, sober-sided possession tale.

I really enjoyed diabolic. I wish I could’ve seen it in theater cause of the dark scenes were hard to see but overall it was a great movie to watch. Scary and creepy all the way until the end. I recommend to watch it.

Elizabeth Cullen is so strong in this film, her performance gave me chills. John Kim and Mia Challis were amazing too. Loved the bloodbath at the end!

Diabolic was so good and original, I loved it. I love witchy, female rage-revenge horror films. This had it all. And the added religious trauma, I totally loved. Must watch for 2026. Really amazing film.

I enjoyed Diabolic and would definitely recommend watching it. It has a lot of scary parts, especially in the third act. The beginning is sort of a slow burn but worth it at the end.

Great film, amazing cast, original concept. Go check out Diabolic - a new Australian religious horror film about the Mormon cult. Diabolic follows Elise, played by Elizabeth Cullen, a young woman who escapes the Mormon cult, but has to return to the cult to heal. This movie has PTSD, deep religious symbolism, heavy subtext meaning and lots of gore. Loved it all.
