Great film! I read the book (entitled Un dimanche à la piscine de Kigali), and am amazed at how the Director was able to capture such a powerful story on the screen. Great casting, and incredible performances. If you liked Hotel Rwanda, you'll love this. Really worth watching.

I read the book first which was g0od, but the film didn't live up to it. i can't help but feel that budget limitations hurt this one. Luc Picard was excellent in the lead, but the film felt long, wasn't super engaging, and generally couldn't have been improved all around. It's a shame as an important and interesting story. Skip it unless really interested in Rwanda.

This one moved me immensely. A well made and definately thought provoking movie on Rwanda, it's problems and definately a creatively made story about "lost love" which took your mind off the problems going on for at least a little while.

Touching but disturbing...

This movie is worth seeing. It shows the bad and good side of humanity.

A voir !!

One of the Canadian Top 10 from 2006 and an interesting drama coming out of that years Toronto film fest. Another one of the looks into the Rwandan Genocide from a different perspective, that one a Canadian photographer having a relationship with a waitress whose caught up with the politics around her. Heart wrenching work.

Bon film, serieusement.

Shockingly honest and gritty, without the romanticism hollywood would have imposed on the subject...brilliant, touching and powerful.
