Okay/decent little sci-fi effort about a small town hotel proprietor who wonders about his curious new guests who seem just a hair out-of-step with the times. Its a nice idea w/o the budget to take things to the next level and that's too bad. And a couple of times Daniels has to overact to sell the piece, but overall its an alright consideration you leave wishing for more out of.
Solid to good thriller with Daniels doing a fine job....I love the set up and the campy factor really works in this flicks favor.
Good movie...I need to watch it again.....I
A great idea for a short story, with very little to say.
A slow paced but reasonably original sci-fi film.
TV MOVIE ***1/2 Time travel tv movie with some original ideas and a good cast. SHOWTIME 5/9/1992
A low budget sci-fi with intelligence and heart. Visitors in the future go into the past to view disasters as tourist destinations, and one man discovers them and alters the timeline, causing many paradoxical problems.
Jeff Daniels gives a great performance and makes the movie. The simple conflicts and ability to create tension by situation alone allows better payoffs with the small special effect pieces.
David Twohy has pretty good vision when it comes to science fiction. This little time travel gem is a very decent watch and a good movie.
A odd but enjoyable time travelling adventure.
It was good. It ended well.
