Incredible. Just incredible. Truly horrifyingly interesting lol! I recommend this documentary to anyone curious about the brain and any sort of deep thinking. It will hopefully change the way you look at everything!
Interesting documentary. Maybe a little too scientific instead of being a little more spiritual but i guess it's nicely done and the people interviewed have fascinating stories about their experiences. Not groundbreaking but instructive and entertaining.
99% groovy bullshit. 1% science. Not at all informative. Completely biased in perspective. Sure these types of substances worthy of study. If you are curious about how these types of chemicals act on our brains, or why this particular compound is found everywhere ... don't waste your time with this feature. Zero real information. Just pseudo spiritual groovy mumbo jumbo with trippy animations.
It's incredibly interesting but the majority of what these experts are conjuring about seems like total crap. The documentary itself though was really well done and the effects going hand in hand with the description of the drug worked really well.
The film amount to just a bunch of sound bites really couple with a lot of tacky graphics. What ever interesting to be said is undermined by quite a lot of intolerable pseudo scientific hippy nonsense. You were high, you were not talking to aliens from another dimension.
Disappointing, couldn't even watch it all the way through. It mostly seemed to be people's experiences of the drug described in a hippy-dippy nonsensical sort of way. This documentary could've been so much more engaging but turned out to be incredibly boring.
Life changing? I gotta find some of this shit.
Pseudoscience and gratuitous visual effects. If you like hearing some "scientists" drone on and on about how they believe drugs can be used for spiritual explanation, without actually explaining much of anything behind the science of those drugs, then you will love this documentary.
This filmmaker was able to take a boring topic and make an even more boring movie about it. Just a bunch of interviews, this movie is lacking.
Documentary account of psychedelic trips. Disappointing, but informative.
