John Travolta, Teri Polo and Vince Vaughn lead the cast in the drama Domestic Disturbance. Travolta is Frank Morrison and he has a troubled son Danny. His son lashes out because he and his wife Susan (Teri Polo) recently got divorced. On top of this she is soon to be remarried to Rick Barnes (Vince Vaughn). Through all of this Frank and Danny have a very good relationship.

When Danny accuses his new father to be of committing a murder, which Danny saw with his own eyes, Frank can only wonder if such a strong accusation is real. The audience is aware of Rick's actions including the murder of his friend Ray (Steve Buscemi), but the drama is that nobody believes Danny. Frank trusts his son and begins the investigation himself even though nobody believes him and the case is considered closed.

Domestic Disturbance is typical Hollywood type blockbuster thriller. Travolta does a good job leading as a good-natured father. Vaughn who is no stranger to playing a villain does so with his typical over serious manner. The film never feels too far-fetched, but movies like this typically do not have a high ceiling and this one is not much different. The film may have served better leaving it up to the audience to believe Danny, but instead everything writes itself in this film.

An unsettling thriller that features good acting from Vince Vaughn as the bad guy. (First and only full viewing - 12/21/2010)

Domestic Disturbance is an easy watching Thriller with nothing for the viewer to work out, possibly the creepiest part of this film is how very amicable it is between the adults in the beginning ... Very predictable, if it didn't have the stars in it, this would have had a limited audience, at the same time it's not unbearable.

Way better than anyone gives this credit. Predictability is its only flaw. Travolta is excellent in this and Vince Vaughn is quite chilling. To the point that I would not have guessed he would go into a comedy career after this.

Domestic Disturbance isn't that original, but it's nonetheless a solid thriller with fairly brisk pacing. The main highlights are Vince Vaughn and John Travolta who are both excellent, raising the tension with their convincing performances while simultaneously overshadowing the rest of the cast who are just fine. The plot seemingly wraps up a little too quickly in the third act, the final confrontation is slightly cheesy and a lengthier runtime would have benefited Domestic Disturbance a lot, but as it stands it's serviceable, concise entertainment

A rather boring thriller with a poor, unimaginative story that just just provide any suspense. Its just a bland, 90 minute movie.

Lightweight thriller that is rather bland considering the talent on hand,,,,boring script.

Vince Vaughan cuts a terrifically convincing psychopath with his broad build and penetrative ice-cold stare. Okay, not a horror fest thriller, yet Becker casts and directs this tense thriller immensely successful. I don't get the very low rating here, yet film reviewers often mistake suspense for gory fright - two very different genres of film altogether.

Worth a watch, a simple enough storyline but done well enough to keep you watching.

Good thriller movie, the soundtrack was brilliant, and the acting was great as well. The storyline could of been a little better and the ending was very predictable.

Why would cops not follow through with an investigation when someone's accused of murder? That makes no sense. But it's fun to watch.

Fairly predictable. Good cast but even they couldn't pull movie together. It just didn't seem to flow. It was a decent movie but nothing to write home about.

I am usually not a big fan of Vince Vaughn but in this thriller he actually played a very convincing bad guy. The premise was simple and to the point and created some very suspenseful and thrilling moments. I was a little let down with the fact that some things were a little unrealistic in how police and others acted. It was very predictable but even with that, I enjoyed it and really loved the final moments of the film. This wasn't one of Travolta's best but its not a bad watch one to watch.

It wasn't terrible. Vincent Vaughn actually sold me on being a villian, and Travolta is Travolta. That being said it's super duper predictable and the conclusion is so sudden and it's over. Tension is built nicely then it gets way too cheesy and just comes to a quick halt. It was short and relied on 2 leads obviously to make a bang. Vincent Vaughn is the new stepfather with a shaky past who has dark secrets yada yada yada.

Despite being a not-so-executed thriller, Domestic Disturbance serves up enough thrills due to Vince Vaughn's rare antagonistic performance alongside John Travolta's convincing presence.

Good Film! Tense storyline with a new look at Vince Vaughen as psychotic killer trying to doe his true identity from his new future family. John Travolta plays your normal likeable father who soon becomes aware of an unusual situation with his son fearing his life.
