Audience Reviews for Don McLean - Starry, Starry Night

November 2, 1999 live concert from Austin, Texas' Paramount Theatre as aired originally on PBS public television. Pretty amazing. The filmed concert has Don McLean interviewed to explain songs between performances. Some of the songs are new to me and I skipped past them. Would have been a 100 were it not for these. Of course, the title is from "Vincent" (Starry, Starry Night) was one of Don's big hits which he talks about in an interview segment. Suggest this for any fan of McLean. American Pie especially. The song set includes: Castles in the Air Jerusalem Crossroads (not the Cream version) You Gave Me a Mountain (country standard) Crying (Ray Orbison version) Singin' the Blues (country favorite) Vincent (also known as Starry, Starry Night) Angry Words Raining in My Heart (with guest Nancy Griffith) And I Love You So (duet with Griffith, made a hit for Como) Fashion Victim If We Try It Was a Very Good Year (Sinatra hit) You're My little Darlin' American Pie VHS, color concert, 75 minutes.
