Audience Reviews for Doragon bôru Z 11: Sûpâ senshi gekiha! Katsu no wa ore da (Dragon Ball Z: Bio-Broly)

Broly is back again? Really? Broly is a slime monster in this film and considering how different he looks; he might as well have been anything. Despite the characters unnecessary return, this effort still manages to be solid and delightfully fun. Features some of the minor characters of the DBZ canon, which is refreshing. Goten and Trunks make for a pretty entertaining duo and have some funny dialogue. Mr. Satan was never one of my favorite characters but he is significantly less annoying in this one than in Bojack Unbound. Having Android 18 and Krillin playing at least some part in the plot is also neat. Not one of the best movies but not the toxic waste dump that most fans make it out to be. The action is nice and the fifties sci-fi-like lab settings are pretty cool.

Despite this significant flaw, the movie is alright. There's some good comedy the battle with Broly is not too bad, and there's even a tense atmosphere thanks to some self-replicating genetic liquid stuff that consumes any living thing it touches. It's also refreshing to see Goten & Trunks save the day, instead of always Goku.
