When small-town teen Dorothy Mills (Jenn Murray) tries to kill an infant, everyone agrees that something is wrong with her, but no one is quite sure what. Expert psychologist Jane Van Dopp (Carice van Houten) travels to the remote community to investigate and quickly determines that the girl is schizophrenic, but local clergyman Pastor Ross (Gary Lewis) believes that Satan is possessing the girl. When Dorothy makes a startling revelation about Jane's own past, things get even eerier.
