Maybe Wes Craven can start 'presenting' better horror films because Wes Craven Presents Dracula II: Ascension is a disappointing straight-to-video sequel.

...the filmmakers splatter the screen with buckets of blood, severed heads, and gory, close-up autopsies, but while all this may be gross and disgusting, it's not scary.

a polished, well-toned feature..does the all too rare bustle of improving on its predecessor, whilst playing an interesting spin on the Transylvania prodigy.
