A strictly members-only entertainment for a dedicated target audience, "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F'" will impress the uninitiated as very loud and very colorful, but not nearly fast-paced enough.

What makes the movie engaging are the roiling emotions going on beneath all the biffing and bamming.

Audience Reviews for Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F'

½

I found this movie to be a little under developed based on the previous movies and shows of the past. The main point in this movie is bringing back one of the biggest legacy villains of all time and one of the longest fights in the history of DBZ. They made Freiza a lot less powerful than they could have, and didn't let the fight last longer than it should have. But overall for the fact that the movie was fan based and shed a little light on the villain Freiza, it was a pretty awesome movie at best.

I have watched this film so many times and i love it!!!! Would vote 5 star but it is only letting me vote 2.5 (insert sad face here)

Honestly, I thought "Battle of Gods" was slightly better. The animation on Blu-ray HD was beautiful, and the fight scenes were entertaining, as always. However, I really didn't feel as satisfied with how little story there was leading up to the battle, and quite a few favorite characters were absent or had very little screen time.
