This is one of the worst DB Z movies but non of them sucked so this is a pretty good movie. I liked the storyline , a namek (like Picolo)wants to turn Earth in a spaceship and he starts by clouding the sky. After the intro they start fighting and fighting and fighting and fighting and when they finish fighting they fight some more. What sucked in this movie was the final battle. That was the most boring part of the movie. Goku fights the namek, who is not a namek but a super namek which means that he's as big as the statue of liberty, turns into a Super Sayan beats the crap out of the huge super namek and clears the sky. Thats about it.

A powerful menace comes to invade Earth, with Goku and farmiliar characters there to stop him. Usual stuff, but should please series fans. Helped by menacing title villain, who makes it worthwhile. Followed by COOLER'S REVENGE.

A DBZ remake of the King Piccolo Saga but tons of fun nonetheless. Filled with no-frills action, great animation, and a suitably insane story that still holds up logically (at least, when compared to the other films). Piccolo is a badass and Lord Slug is a very ruthless villain. Nice to see a battle that takes place within a city (most DBZ battles take place on grassy or desert grounds). One of the best entries in the DBZ movie series.

Lord Slug plays out similarly to the King Piccolo DB saga, but with a twist of "super saiyan" flair and fight-shortening battle tactics. The plot is interesting, but the execution is lacking. It's somewhat similar to The Tree Of Might, but without the quality of action... It's definitely not the worst DBZ film, but it's no where near the best either. This also marks the beginning of the top metalcore/post-grundge alternative song placement in any and all fight sequences era.

Among the stronger DBZ movies. Features a memorable villain and showcases creative action sequences. The characters are written well and it heavily features Piccolo, which is always good.

The fourth DBZ film is more busy with fighting, and that's good, but after a while it feels less exciting. However this gives a pretty good alternative on Goku's famous transformation and also a very interesting one. Another reccomendable DBZ movie.

It's not a movie people. It's a filler episode of DBZ.

Could be worthwhile, will see.

Lord Slug is one of the warts in the Dragon Ball Z movie series. The Japanese title, "Super Saiya-jin Son Goku," is pretty much false advertising, as Goku doesn't really go Super Saiyan.

This is where the films of Dragonball Z start getting great, the fights, the soundtrack, and the characters.
