Went in with very low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Ab Jr has done a pretty decent job. The movie starts off with a bang but the second half could have been tighter.

Fascinating inter-linked story that is directed very well.Abhishek as the tough narcotics cop was excellent, the others esp Rana was good too.The amusing dialogues also added to the fun factor.

Went into this movie with high expectations. The plot and acting were decent as well. But still, the movie just found a way to drag on way too long and discuss things that were not relevant to the story. At the same time, the writers did not explain certain parts of the movie that ultimately ended up as loose ends (Basu's character, how the written testimony actually helped, etc.). Ultimately, a waste of time.

well, this movie is not an usual Bollywood movie actually. It might have been inspired by some Hollywood movies, not sure about it, but the movie works in a way. This movie is about Goa & all the drug business that once had taken all over Goa. Enters ACP Kamath who takes a vow to clean up the mess. Talking about the performances Abhishek Bachchan plays these kind of roles very well. He was good & effective. Rana Daggubati had nothing much to do but seems like he has the potential. Prateik Babbar was good yet again after Dhobhi Ghat, Aditya Pancholi making a comeback, was okay & Bipasha had nothing much to do at all. The music of the movie is nice, specially the famous title track recreated. Also the background music was techno savvy, by the very talented Medieval Punditz. The final twist of the movie actually is a nice one, which will shock you for just a moment. The direction was fine but could have been much better, editing was not as sharp as it could have been, "thayn thayn" song could have been easily chopped, it was silly to watch a hardcore cop rapping in the middle of his duties.

P.S. do not miss Deepika & her moves in the title track.

One of the better Abhisekh flicks lately, it feels disjointed throughout.

Cool, stylish thriller! Terrific direction and performances by all. Cool songs! First half is awesome; second half not as amazing but still makes for a good watch.

What a disaster! A potentially slick plot in the backdrop of drug trading in Goa but weak performance and poor direction led to a totally disconnected experience. C'mon! The audiences expected better than this from the Sippy clan.

Dum Maaro Dum sheds light on the drug problems in India's tourist town of Goa. Sunny, beautiful and a tourist heaven on the outside, we see that Goa has this dark side which now needs to be handled by the new police officer in town (Abhishek). Its good to see Aditya's performance and Bipasha playing her role and the dialogues are great sometimes as well but the lead song featuring Deepika is a big disappointment.

It's good but I expected alot more from this movie. Still it's got its heart at the right place. Some scenes and sequences are brilliant, some are a let down. Some of the music is in the wrong place, at the wrong time. Acting wise, everyone does a good job!
