The soundtrack is compelling enough to feel more like an opera than a supporting element in a movie. The dogs are the best part—even they seem to have depth. The humans, though, could have been better written. Some characters just pass through like mist. The plot is convoluted, but perhaps that is part of its beauty. The climax is simple. One could say the runtime is unnecessarily stretched, but frankly, it does not hurt to behold the splendour in all the shots. The editing is rather bland. Places where CGI has been used look bad, honestly. Sandeep Pradeep delivers an uncanny performance. This slow burn is not one to keep you on the edge of your reclining seat, but it burns to the core. The visuals and the way it was captured stun me every-time. ekō was no different than that. A mystery-thriller, wonderful greenery all around.
