It's fun to see these characters again and be back in this world, but "Better Call Saul" does exactly that in a substantive manner. El Camino is saddled with a hollow center.

[T]he movie is a wonderful reunion with the tone and feel of the original series, and with that comes exciting stylistic choices, impressively structured storytelling, and brilliant character work.

Except for the enjoyable nostalgia that swells in the form of throwback cameos, Vince Gilligan probably should've left this one alone. This movie may have sounded good in theory, but turns out it's far more story than anybody needed or wanted.

As in the so-called "best series in history", the engine that puts this story into operation is a script that gives no respite and equips the characters with a humanity as brutal as it is heartbreaking. [Full Review in Spanish]

You recognize Gilligan's style and obsessions, there are fortunate reappearances like that of the professional Mike, Todd,, but other situations and characters I see and hear with indifference. [Full Review in Spanish]

Thrilling epilogue to iconic TV series; violence, language.

The grimness is balanced by the sweet idiocy and funny banter of Jesse's pals Skinny Pete (Charles Baker) and Badger (Matt Jones).

An honorable story for Jesse Pinkman. [Full Review in Spanish]

While it isn't a terribly exciting conclusion to a richly-textured saga, it's the little moments along the way that make El Camino a heartfelt final chapter in a great character's story.

In the end, though, we are left with little more than a movie that follows a renegade hero trying to flee from the authorities chasing him down while the narrative flashes back to the memories he can't outpace.

Gilligan has done his magic again...

The film mixes a self-help message with moments of hard, cruel detail.

It's just really good, much, much better than it needed to be. Aaron Paul surpasses his work in the series, playing an older, darker, wiser but not necessarily more enlightened version of Jesse.

A satisfying epilogue to a fantastic saga...

"El Camino" was very engaging. A suspenseful, well-acted, superbly shot and edited movie. An amalgam of everything we love about the richly-detailed New Mexican crime world Vince Gilligan created in "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul."

Just keep making Breaking Bad movies Vince! You have our collective blessing.

In the first few frames of the movie we're promised the story of a man who has fled and now needs to build a new life. Instead, we get something much less subtle, much more obvious and much less fulfilling.

El Camino will only work for fans who can recall who all these familiar faces are - the nostalgic pull and possibility for reconnection are sometimes recapped in dialogue, most of it avoiding the ludicrously expository, but outsiders will be baffled.

If you can't tell a Jesse Pinkman from a Walter White, this film is assuredly not for you

Spending a little more time with the beloved Jesse Pinkman is a welcome experience, but the lack of emotional rawness and character drive make it a less involving visit than I yearned for.
