Movie Info

The first half of the two-part TV movie Elvis and Me detailed the courtship of Elvis Presley (Dale Midkiff) and Priscilla Bealieu (Susan Walters). It naturally follows, then, that Part Two would chronicle the decline and fall of this once-blissful union. Moving into Graceland in 1963, Priscilla's first obstacle to happiness is competing with the memory of Presley's late mother. The couple marries in 1967, and shortly afterward Lisa Marie is born. As Elvis' popularity fluctuates over the next few years, Priscilla is largely left in the lurch. And then, drugs enter the picture. Considering that virtually everyone in America already knew this story, the second part of Elvis and Me did exceptionally well in the ratings when it first aired February 8, 1988.more

Audience Reviews for Elvis and Me

This movie to me is by far the best telling of the story of Elvis, of course it's based on Priscilla's book... "You better not come home late woman"
