Not the most memorable sci-fi film, but it has strong casting and a pretty decent concept. All of it combined with artistic and eye-catching visuals. Ender himself was a compelling enough character.
Decent acting, lovely music and visuals, but the plot is pretty boring. Not much really happens and the ending is a mixture of cliffhanger and anti-climax.
SciFi in it's finest form. Story, strategy, action and reflection.
Very cerebral. I can see why some had issues with this movie. It was over their uneducated heads. THIS is why I never listen to the critics. The majority are idiots and are hoping the other idiots and the mediocre listen to them. As if concurring with the critics would make them smarter or cooler in some way.
Sci-fi thriller with amazing cast does not disappoint!! Smart plot with twists you don't expect.
That was a tough movie to adapt. Well acted, mostly well realised. I don't know how you could have driven home the sheer brutality they exposed Ender and his peers to in a film suitable for all audiences. Well worth the watch.
Although the acting was good, the ending was very unsatisfying.
One of the greatest kids science fiction books brought to the screen and produced by the author himself so it really held true to the key points of the story. Since it was written before the age of the internet the book spent more time on the technology for how they communicated between the earth and space ship via electronic mail... the movie skips all that for obvious reasons we now just take communications across space for granted. Great adaptation of the book in the screenplay and the kids they got to play the characters did fantastic.
This was a total mess. OSC should be ashamed as should the producer. this was junk, bad acting and alot of plot points in the book were missed.
It was amazing!!! Directly represents the book and hits all the feels. It is a must see!
