Acting is not easy, good acting is extremely difficult and being famous certainly doesn’t help. Fame will get dross like this into cinemas but it leaves the limitations of the star subject pitilessly exposed and they become a lesser talent because of it.

It never aimed for the kind of "cool" apathy some audiences might expect or even want. Like Charli’s dynamite record Brat, steeped in vulnerability, Erupcja contains multitudes: insecurity, longing, identity, and ultimately, choice.

This is now the second shortest film to premiere in theaters, next to Look Back. But unlike that movie, this could have been a 52 minute tv episode if you cut all the unnecessary environmental shots and hanging scenes. What is it with Charli XCX and not wanting to be accountable for ANY OF HER ACTIONS/PROJECTS?
