11/28/2012 As Americans, we have grown into a society of complacency. Look around us folks! My little town in the middle of nowhere in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan is on a down slope into who knows what. My state of Michigan has already began the slide, our country is following. Christ! The entire globe is!! We cannot continue our present level of take, take, take. Mother earth is screaming at us to listen...this movie begs the human race to look at where we've come, our present mindset of continuing on our course into oblivion if we don't stop our orgasmic love of and addicted dependency on non-renewable resources that we continue to believe will never run out of. WATCH THIS MOVIE AND LEARN!! See more 04/24/2012 excellent documentary on moving forward See more 09/11/2011 Climate change, food shortages, energy crisis, economic collapse, government's inability or unwillingness to fix society's problems...... if you worry about any of these please watch this documentary. The more we educate ourselves on these topics, the better we will all be. See more 05/11/2008 This movie is completely riveting. Don't not watch this film...seriously! Way better than Gore's film http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2y9BbNjLAY See more 05/08/2008 I couldn't help feel like I had seen this documentary before. How many of these things do we actually need? I agree that peak oil is a problem, and the traditional definition of suburban living is going to be changing, but I hate when experts get all doomsday about it as if we're going to wake up one day and all the gas stations are just going to be empty and we're all screwed. It's going to a be a slow transition into a different american lifestyle. Just like the slow transition we made into our current lifestyle. And everything will end up being ok. Chill out, y'all. See more 09/29/2007 The sequel to 'End of Suburbia’, but it’s more inconsistent and has a disjointed narrative in comparison to the first film. However, watch this film - it will change your thinking, if not they way you live your life! See more Read all reviews
