Movie Info
Based on a much-publicized true story, this drama follows the attempts to rescue little Jessica McClure, a Texas toddler who has fallen into a well more than 20 feet below the ground. Surrounded by a media circus, police chief Richard Czech (Beau Bridges) and fire chief James Roberts (Pat Hingle) oversee the rescue operation, while volunteer Carolyn Henry (Patty Duke) tries to console the child's young parents, Chip (Will Oldham) and Cissy (Roxana Zal).
