By the time Supreme Pictures released the Johnny Mack Brown western Everyman's Law in New York, Supreme had been liquidated and Brown was gainfully employed at Universal. The star is cast as "The Dog Town Kid," a Texas Ranger who is posing as a notorious outlaw. Hoping to get the goods on a crooked land baron, the Kid hires himself out to the villain.
