Movie Info

Fargo Express was part of Ken Maynard's 1932-33 western series, produced by KBS and released by World Wide Studios. Maynard is hired to keep peace on an express coach that has been targeted by bandits. As expected, he does his job thoroughly and with a maximum of flying fists. Helen Mack, an above-average actress usually cast in hard-bitten roles, plays her ingenue part with a bit more depth than was usual. Fargo Express was directed by Alan James, one of the few directors that the mercurial Ken Maynard liked and trusted; James stayed with Maynard for the entire KBS series--quite a record for associates of this most contentious of cowboy heroes.
