Fighting Thru (1930)

Movie Info

Western star Ken Maynard's final film of 1930, Fighting Thru was a conventional story of a miner (Maynard) falsely accused of killing his partner (Wallace MacDonald). The real culprit is villainous Charles King, who not only covets the dead man's valuable property but also his lovely sister (Jeanette Loff). Naturally, everything is neatly solved before the fade-out. Heroine Loff enjoyed some success in the earliest days of sound but her talent was a bit too slim to support a major career. She died young, in 1942.
