Audience Reviews for Final Approach

The sloppy opening belies a pretty decent, TV grade, extended movie plot. As ever the 4 hour running time feels stretched and a 50% cut would have increased the pace and drama immeasurably but the plot develops exactly as you'd expect and does a reasonable job of staying vaguely believable. Cain is a pretty poor heroic character but somehow it helps the realism over say a Hollywood A-lister in the same role.

Even though this made-for-tv movie is almost 3 hours long it is fairly enjoyable. It was entertaining enough to justify watching the whole thing. Aside from the corny acting (and Dean Cain) there isn't really anything bad I can say about this movie.
