Who knew so many good films came out of England? I mean that sincerely. Hollywood American films tend to get all the attention, while films like this British tale of race relations and conflict often get overlooked. Though there are many great American classics, movies across the pond also derserve a look. It just goes to show that many areas of the world have vibrant, talented film industries with good stories to tell.

Very good little British film about race relations. Explores the issues very thoroughly and directly - pretty progressive for the early 1960s.
