Movie Info

The heart of Frankenstein is transported by Nazis to Japan just before the atomic bomb is dropped to end World War II. A hungry child eats the radioactive heart and is transformed into a hideous monster. The monster adjourns to Mount Fugi so no one will see it's horrible visage, battles Baragon, then sets out to destroy Tokyo. Dr. James Bowen Nick Adams is the American scientist who is conveniently on hand to help rebuild the city after the bomb and hopefully stop the giant Frankenstein monster from terrorizing the country.

Only the hypnotic oddness of what the film does to the Frankenstein mythos keeps it from dragging altogether.

Audience Reviews for Frankenstein Conquers the World

Interesting film with some nice monster action and actors. It's pretty different for a Frankenstein tale, but it brings about the classic kaiju Baragon and has a pretty good fight at the end.

I don't know what sort of mad genius thought it would be a good idea to make Frankenstein into a gigantic radioactive "caucasian" boy and have him fight other giant monsters, but all I can say is- Bravo, Sir! Bravo!

That octopus! The way Frankenstein should have been told in the first place! Very entertaining and probably the most jaw dropping kaiju film I've ever seen. If you're a fan of giant moster films this is highly recommended. Oh yeah, and Baragon is in it too.
