Movie Info

The Japanese Fugitive Alien makes up in vigor what it lacks in technical expertise. The plot follows the tried-and-true course of outer-space fantasies from time immemorial. After much saber-rattling, Earth and the extraterrestrials duke it out with high-tech weaponry. The cause of it all is the title character, who seeks asylum on Earth from a totalitarian space regime. At 103 minutes, Fugitive Alien can't sustain itself to the end, but it's okay for at least half its length. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Audience Reviews for Fugitive Alien

An easily forgettable movie about a spaceship landed on an exotic planet (rural Japan?) and the overlord of the totalitarian society on the planet wants to take capture the crew. A rip off of Star Trek.

A mixture of horrible TV plot ideas makes for this interesting TV movie. When you understand it and don't get confused about who is who, it's actually fun to watch. At least until it gets strange again. It's almost an okay movie.

The cheesy effects really make this cheap film a lot of fun. A lot of slow bits, an ending that drags on, and unintentionally hilarious characters.
