Movie Info

Documentary filmmaker Janine Hosking turns her lens to the case of Schapelle Corby, an Australian woman found with ten pounds of marijuana conspicuously packed in her luggage while traveling through Indonesia. Facing the death-penalty for the offense, Corby maintains her innocence and victimhood at the hands of drug-smugglers. Meanwhile everyone on her side only works to hinder her case with their ineptitude. Ganja Queen had its premiere at the 2007 Slamdance Film Festival. ~ Matthew Tobey, Rovi

Critic Reviews for Ganja Queen

All Critics (1) | Top Critics (1)

Given the questions and tensions created by helmer Janine Hosking and the general anxieties about air travel, Ganja Queen should have a healthy life on cable, pot-tolerant college campuses and perhaps even in limited arthouse release.

Audience Reviews for Ganja Queen

The edge of my seat.......It was a true story of a women trying to smuggle drugs to the US...had my hands were sweating for her good to watch

This was really interesting but kind of makes me scared to travel. I think she's innocent which makes it sad she's in prison for 20 years.
