Not too original, but it's still decent monster fare. The effects aren't good, and the characters are bland, but it has interesting tidbits and a few good scenes. Not the most entertaining monster movie, but not entirely terrible.
Earthquakes on a polynesian island have really messed up the quality of special effects and acting!!! Also all the stupid people have been lured onto the island so they can get killed at the beginning!!! As you can guess, its not a good movie!!!!
