This film is the murder victim of its half-baked screenplay.

According to one of the characters, three factors lead to a killer - motive, opportunity, and capacity. Katz overlooked all of them.

...a stylish yet distressingly empty cinematic experience.

GEMINI isn't going to be easily categorized, but it puts a premium on its storytelling while still remaining a chin-stroking puzzle.

I like slow contemplative movies. I love neo-noir films. These two great tastes together should yield dividends. Instead, GEMINI just disappointed.

a merger of Cold Weather's mumblenoir and LA neo-noir: a light and low-key affair led by a laid-back amateur sleuth who, despite repeated assertions about her powers of recall, is remarkably slow to work out whodunnit.

Occasionally humorous, consistently quirky, and genuinely filled with tension, there's a lot to like here.

Kravitz (Rough Night, Mad Max: Fury Road) is capable of better than this.

Sleek and captivating, Gemini navigates the emotional traps imbedded in a celebrity culture fueled by acts of theatrical desperation.
August 8, 2018
The film's sense of tension is real, and built on realistic moments.

All that to say, Gemini is a sensational visual and audible experience. Aaron Katz captures a pulsating and stylized version of Los Angeles that is not typically seen in feature films...

It's the cinematic equivalent of a selfie.

Witty, well-acted and knowing noir about a murder in LaLa Land.
