I like this movie as a response to the throngs of people who have the gall to like movies that ere not good, but somehow are liked because they never try to be more than that. This movie is a bold and refreshing response to that kind of movie. It has so much courage in it just because it is terrible and it does so in a way that is completely terrible. Anyone who would give this movie a positive review is just doing so to be the one voice that does so. This movie is not unwatchable, but it takes a masochist to make it from beginning to end without walking out because of boredom. It has the balls to get Joe Pesci and Dannu Glover to act in this terrible film. It could have been the first and last movie made by a film school hack, but they got star power at the peak of their fame to act in it. A lot of people don't know this about the film but JJ Abrams was one of the writers of an early draft of this movie. This move should be dropped from planes to people on desert islands, because even the most hopeless and unmotivated/slothful soul would find a way off that island if this is all they had for entertainment.
