Audience Reviews for Gone to Texas

This is the extremely overlong story of Sam Houston and what he meant to the Republic of Texas. Elliott is sturdy as Houston, overplaying the machismo a bit. The story develops slowly, with a strange streak of cowardice running through it, but it held my interest enough to get a passing grade.
