I'm a fan of this genre and enjoyed it. I'm pleased that Gothix found peace and was surrounded by loved ones to help her cope with the terrible onslaught of evil people with their barrage of hate. Unfortunately, that is the reality of people hiding behind social media. People need to be held accountable for their actions. I highly recommend this documentary to anyone. See more Abigail S 12/27/2023 A fantastic documentary that shows the 3-year-long story of someone who sees the lies and walks away. Very well done and I honestly forgot that such a small team put this together as I watched. The creativity of some of the captions was amazing (the tape rip one got a chuckle out of me) and all of the string/orchestral tracks were very well done. Getting to experience Gothix's journey with her was amazing and the ending was incredible to see. If I were to critique it would be that the music of the first half of the documentary often didn't match the emotion of the scene (the driveby shooting scene is a good example of this) and the sound mixing during the opening lines by the narrator is a bit off with the music drowning out the narrator's voice sometimes. However, these are minor tweaks and the documentary stands on its own very well and will be one that I re-watch. See more Cyns Corner 12/24/2023 This documentary was fantastic. I had the pleasure of interviewing Vanessa on my channel a couple of years ago and she was in the middle of filming the documentary at that time so I've been looking forward to watching it ever since she first told me about it. There was a lot of stuff talked about during this film that I already knew, having watched Vanessa's YouTube channel for a few years, but there was some stuff that was new to me and eye-opening. It deepened my understanding of her experiences with "cancel culture." In a lot of ways, that's what this film is about - how one person was able to emerge on the other side of it profoundly changed, and strengthened, as a result. What happened to her, however, wasn't okay. It's disheartening and disturbing to see how vile some people can be and the low levels they sink to in order to try to destroy someone they're angry at for daring to think differently. The pacing is good and the hour and a half flew by. Would definitely watch again, and I recommend it to anyone who is interested in this type of subject matter. Also recommended for open-minded individuals who are mature enough to understand and accept that not everyone is going to have the same viewpoints.
