From Kultur comes Great Writers. Combining archival footage with commentary, the seven-volume series highlights the lives and careers of some of the 20th century's most accomplished wordsmiths. This volume, Great Writers: Jack London, offers viewers a glimpse into the life of Jack London, including his adventures in Alaska, his large body of work, and his suicide at age 40. London is probably best remembered for his book The Call of the Wild. Released in 2001, the program runs 45 minutes.
