Pretty terrible. Stick to the first Halloween.

Fuck's sake, where to start with this one?

This film is pretty terrible, trying to tap into the burgeoning reality TV market with a tour of the Myer's home, where (big surprise) the real Michael Myers is waiting for anyone to wander in and then all hell breaks lose.

It's bad. And why the fuck does Busta Rhymes talk to himself through the whole movie? He's yammering constantly, and when there's no one around, he TALKS TO HIMSELF. It's amazingly stupid.

Pass/rental at best, if you wanna make fun of it, because there's a lot to poke fun at.

Pretty much the worst of the series.

They just had to go and make another goddamn Halloween movie. H20 would've been the perfect ending to the franchise! This movie takes such a shit on the previous movie and ruins it entirely. In the ending of the last one we see Laurie finally having her revenge against Michael in such an awesome way (she cuts off his head with an axe) that it should have been the end. BUT! In this movie we find out that she didn't actually kill Michael, she killed a paramedic DRESSED AS MICHAEL! I was really angry when this happened... Then Laurie gets killed. Yeah, she gets killed. Oh God, this movie is baaad! The rest of the movie follows some college kids in the Myers house who are hosting a reality show there. Then Michael comes and kills most of them. The characters suck, you don't care whether they live or die. The movie tries to be a part found footage film, and part not. While I do respect that they tried to do something new to the franchise, it was done badly. I can't recommend this movie to anyone, except if you're having some sort of a Halloween marathon. If you want to skip the shit, watch the first 3, then the 7th one. Those are the ones worth watching.

This was an unneeded foray after the last movie(and the best of the sequels).Ruined the whole franchise for me as Micheal finally kills off Laurie. Thanks you bunch of A HOLES.

This one was alright... I just think that all these films are just not good.

Resurrection shouldn't exist, but what did you expect from the studio. This, somewhat final installment, gives fans weak kills, weak characters, but a memorable Michael.

This film does everything wrong. The characters are dull and unlikeable. The reality TV, digital POV gimmick is distracting and adds nothing to the film. It's an unimaginative, by-the-numbers slasher film. Busta Rhymes is an extreme irritant. Even Michael Myers' mask looks cheap and awful. Shockingly, this is not the worst film in the franchise.

Just watched this on Netflix. as a slasher/Halloween fan... This movie is without question the worst Halloween movie let alone one of the worst slasher movies ever made (if you can call it a slasher). Avoid this garbage.

Not the worst, but not the best either. Halloween Resurrection could've been so much better. The acting needed MAJOR improvement, but it's still entertaining. However, its more funny than scary. If you want a stupidly enjoyable film, then Halloween Resurrection is for you.

A pathetic, insipid excuse for a horror movie, and a downright insulting final outting for the iconic Mr. Myers.

Giving this one half a star is being generous. Ladies and gentlemen, this is undoubtedly the worst "Halloween" film in the series. It's so bad, it's not even good. It makes the rest of the sequels, even part 6, look like classics. "Halloween: Resurrection" is absolutely devoid of wit, logic, and worse, scares. The story is a tired excuse to capitalize on the "Blair Witch" phenomenon of the 90's in its attempt to establish our beloved serial killer Michael Myers in a found-footage environment. The movie's kill scenes are tame, pathetic, and sorely lacking in creativity. The only perhaps slightly welcome aspect of the film is Jamie Lee Curtis's return as Laurie Strode, but even then, it looks like she's just here to collect a paycheck (can't say I blame her after the unbelievably stupid execution-no pun intended-of killing her). The least welcome turn is not even from Brad Loree, whose take on The Shape lacks any real fear factor, but from Busta Rhymes, who can't act to save his life and has the sorry task of karate-chopping Michael. Overall, "Halloween: Resurrection" is not hilariously bad, but depressingly so, and is ultimately offensive to dedicated fans and Michael Myers himself. Shame on Rick Rosenthal, the director of the actually good "Halloween II", for agreeing to do this trash.

If only Halloween H2O was the last movie in the original series.

It's so bad! The characters are extremely poor and I am not going to talk about Busta Rhymes, ok?

Ruins a perfectly satisfying finale to the series in Halloween H20 with a highly stupid explanation for Michael's returning from a decapitation, a soul crushing demise of Laurie Strode, and an utterly pointless Blair Witch gimmick for a plot. H20 ended the series respectfully with class and integrity that made the original a classic... Judging by how this film turned out, there was no damn good reason to resurrect and thereby screw up the Halloween franchise.

To the fans, I'd say pretend this is either bad fan fiction or that it just doesn't exist and Michael is indeed where he belongs... In hell without a head.

If you're going to FUCK your audience (like the people who made this excrement are doing) at least let them in on the joke or give them something to fill the two hours of less-than-nothing that you have callously put on offer. A braindead, scareless crapfest utterly void of artistry or merit.

This movie is AWFUL!!!!!!!!Halloween h20 was a great way to end the franchise but they crapped all over that movie just to cash in and make a completely unnecessary sequel.I hated every character in this movie. There is NOTHING good about this movie. The first 15 minutes are unnecessary,The death scenes are boring, there is no character development, there is a stupid fuzzy camera idea that someone threw in there........well yeah that's my review for this terrible movie.

1/10
